Top 5 Air Travel Apps on iOS in Paraguay in Q2 2021

The second quarter of 2021 saw interesting trends among the top 5 air travel apps on the iOS platform in Paraguay. Here's a closer look at their performance based on data from Sensor Tower.

Copa Airlines experienced a significant increase in weekly downloads. Starting with just 14 downloads at the beginning of April, the numbers surged to a peak of 116 downloads in the week of June 7. By the end of June, the app maintained a steady download rate of around 74. Despite this growth in user acquisition, the app did not generate any revenue during this period.

Flightradar24 | Flight Tracker showed a moderate performance in terms of weekly downloads, fluctuating between 15 and 46 downloads throughout the quarter. The app's weekly revenue peaked at $171 in the last week of May, with other notable weeks including mid-April and early May where revenue hovered around $160.

LATAM had a somewhat volatile quarter in terms of downloads. The app started with 15 downloads at the end of March, dipped to a low of just 2 downloads in late April, and then rebounded to reach 33 downloads by the end of June. Similar to Copa Airlines, LATAM did not generate any revenue during this period.

American Airlines showed a gradual increase in weekly downloads, starting with just 4 downloads in late March and reaching a peak of 25 downloads in the week of June 21. While the app saw a steady increase in user acquisition, it did not report any revenue for the quarter.

Lastly, Priority Pass™ had consistent download numbers, averaging between 7 and 25 downloads per week. The highest number of downloads was recorded in the last week of May with 25 downloads. Like many others in this category, Priority Pass™ did not generate revenue during this period.
